There are so many sweet memories of going to SCHOOL. As a kid we always looked forward to the drawing periods. The drawing teacher would get all sorts of coloured chalks - pink, blue, purple, yellow, green and soon the black board would transform into a colourful canvas. Scenes like a Rainy Day, Kids playing in the garden, People fishing in the Village pond would come alive on the board. By the end of the period there would be bits and pieces of the chalks strewn all over the floor. Such wonderful childhood memories shaped up by simple things. But it’s a pity that the black boards are now replaced with white boards and chalks with markers. Never knew our treasure trove would become such a rare thing over the time. Here's a cute collection of mulmul crochet lace sarees in chalky pastel shades as a tribute to those days.
